It is at the intersection at the corner across the district official building in Doğancılar It was built in 1558-59. It is also known as Doğancılar mosque. It was rebuilt by the third wife of Sultan abdülhamit II in 1858-59.
The mosque is of stone and its upper parts are wooden, and was built by Abdülhamit II, for his son Burhaneddin in 1902, in the immigrant quarters of that era, which is Burhaniye Quarters today. There is a historical wake-up clock in the mosque.There is also a scripture by writer Hüseyin dated 1318.
